World Youth Day 2027 will bring together young Catholics from across the world in Seoul, South Korea, from 3–8 August 2027, under the inspiring theme, “Take courage! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). This international gathering will be a wonderful opportunity for young people to deepen their faith, encounter Christ, celebrate the richness of the universal Church, and build lasting friendships with fellow pilgrims from different cultures and nations. SCC (Small Christian Community) members who participate will have the unique opportunity to experience Korean hospitality by staying in private homes within Catholic parishes in Korea, allowing them to share in the local community’s faith, culture and daily life. It promises to be a memorable journey of faith, fellowship and spiritual renewal.
