The 101st World Mission Sunday will be celebrated on 24 October 2027 under the inspiring theme, “The Love of Christ Sends Us Forth.” This special day invites all the faithful to renew their commitment to the Church’s missionary mandate by sharing the love of Christ through prayer, witness, service and generous support for missionary activities around the world. It reminds us that every baptised Christian is called to be a missionary, bringing the Good News of the Gospel to others through words and deeds. Pope Leo’s Message for World Mission Sunday 2027 will be published at the beginning of 2027 and will offer further spiritual guidance and encouragement as we prepare for this important celebration.
